The Board of Directors is pleased to Announce the following candidates for the position of Director-at-Large for the 2025-2026 Term!

1. ALLEGRA JONES:

Allegra Jones is a second-generation Licensed Professional Fiduciary dedicated to serving individuals and families with integrity and compassion. As the owner of Stewardship Services LLC, she brings extensive experience in trust administration, court-supervised estate administration, conservatorships, and powers of attorney. Allegra specializes in managing trusts, including those with foreign beneficiaries, and works closely with nonprofit organizations and legal professionals to ensure the efficient administration of estates.

With a background in communications from Cal State San Bernardino and certifications in Professional Fiduciary Management for Trustees and Conservators from Cal State Fullerton, Allegra is well-equipped to navigate the financial and legal complexities of fiduciary service. She is also a Certified National Guardian and a Morongo Tribal Court Certified Conservator.

Committed to providing personalized, ethical, and comprehensive support, Allegra continues her family’s legacy of stewardship, offering thoughtful solutions to those in need of professional fiduciary services.

 

2. MATT WALDING:

Matt Walding has over 20 years of legal experience spanning trusts and estates, tax, business, and non-profit law. Matt graduated from law school at UC Berkeley School of Law in 2003. After this, he worked in the tax department of two elite New York City law firms, Paul Hastings LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP, and he also worked as Senior Director of Tax at Tishman Speyer Properties. Matt returned to California in 2019 to form Santos Walding LLP, where he is dedicated to empowering individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations to achieve their goals. He specializes in helping individuals of all income levels achieve their estate planning goals, with a particular focus on generational wealth transfer, tax planning, and charitable giving objectives. He works closely with owners of small and mid-sized businesses providing counsel on succession planning and optimal tax and business outcomes in venture formations, acquisition transactions, and successful exits. For non-profit organizations, Matt offers expert guidance on their operations, investments, and transactions.


3. EMILY GARCZYNSKI:

Emily is a paralegal for Lance Eldred, where her primary focus is estate planning and trust administration matters. She has been learning under Lance for five years and has been a member of the Desert Estate Planning Council for two years. She is currently studying to take the LSAT in the summer with aspirations to attend law school and become an estate planning attorney herself. She is grateful for the professional development being a member of DEPC has provided her through networking with other industry professionals and by expanding her knowledge with informative presentations.
